Rug inspired by a jacket that is probably inspired by a rug

So earlier in a post I mentioned something experimental I've been working on. Well, I didn't end up doing it, but referred back to a technique I already knew. Last weekend I made this rug. I was inspired by these Yeti-looking Balenciaga jackets. Actually, the rug is not really inspired by it, it's the technique that I was inspired by. I would have made a jacket, but frankly, I didn't have the resources to do it. I made a neck wrap version for a friend's fashion shoot last year.

I read in Vogue that Ghesquyere hired a group of expert knitters to help him. Next time, call me too?
